Richard Brown & Co was formed in 2000 and is a partnership between two solicitors Richard Brown and Oliver Barrett. We are proud of the approachable, amiable service that we consistently deliver and strongly believe in helping our clients to reach an agreed settlement in matrimonial disputes.
Our areas of specialist legal advice include divorce, financial settlement, maintenance, civil partnerships, cohabiting couples and Islamic divorces.
We like to update our clients on their cases regularly by email and provide an opportunity for them to approve letters before they are sent out on their behalf. We also belong to ‘Resolution’ which is an organisation of Divorce Solicitors committed to conducting matrimonial proceedings in a more constructive, less confrontational way.
We believe in providing a simple, effective service which is fair to all of our clients. Therefore we will never try to baffle you with legal jargon, we will always try to ensure flexibility in order to limit time taken off work to see a solicitor and we will never use expensive Court proceedings as a first option.
We can arrange telephone consultations outside normal office hours at evenings or weekends if this is more convenient for you. In line with our excellent communication we will always try to reply to your enquiries on the same day wherever possible.
